Inspired by my friend Miriam’s facebook post about writer accountability: http://www.facebook.com/notes/miriam-gershow-the-local-news/one-good-sentence-a-week/10150182748745314, who was inspired by her friend Susanna’s blog post http://tinyurl.com/2uc775h, I’m going to post one good sentence a week from my writing. Of course, as Miriam notes, “good” is “highly subjective and variable.” This week, good just means awkward when taken out of context:
Before Áine could stop him, she heard a sickening snap, accompanied by a low grunt.
